3. Is the treatment for these problems surgical or are medicines
enough?
Haemorrhoids and Fissures usually occur due to constipation. In initial stages, surgery may not be required in all cases. Certain
medicines can be tried in mild or early cases before deciding if the patient requires surgery.

Sometimes, patients may have complications from piles like strangulated piles, excessive bleeding etc which may require emergency
hospital treatment.

4. Is LASER best for all haemorrhoids / anal fissures and fistula?
Laser surgery has its benefits if chosen wisely. Laser has benefits like lesser or no cut required during surgery, less pain after surgery
follow-up after surgery. Laser procedures are more expensive at the same time. as compared to conventional treatment modalities.
As far as it is concerned, the best modality that suits a patient can vary. For example, If the fistula or piles are complicated then these cases may require a combination of laser and other modalities.
